I’m Kankana, the founder and guide at Mokshalaya, a sanctuary for finding balance, inner peace, and holistic well-being through the transformative practice of yoga. My journey into the world of yoga began as a personal quest to reconnect with my mind, body, and spirit. Over the years, it has blossomed into a passionate mission to help others achieve the same harmony in their lives.
At Mokshalaya, which means “abode of liberation,” my aim is to create a space where you can pause, breathe, and rediscover yourself. Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, my goal is to guide you through this enriching journey, honoring the unique rhythm and needs of your body.
Drawing from traditional yogic philosophies and modern practices, I offer a variety of classes tailored to suit every individual, including Ashtanga Yoga sessions and Pilates sessions. From calming Hatha flows to invigorating Vinyasa sessions, every practice is designed to nurture not just the body but also the mind and soul.

    I have been part of KK’s online yoga class for 2+ years. KK is a Calm, Focused and Knowledgeable teacher. She is updating her knowledge constantly and extends her knowledge to others.     Kankana didi is the most patient and soft spoken yoga teacher one could have.. She has a way of getting you to do difficult postures. I still wonder how she guided me to do a shoulder stand with so much ease.. Thank you so much!!

    I do personalised sessions with Kankana.I started with an objective to work on lower back and knee pain.With time we have evolved into more intense aasanas and Pilates which is customised keeping in my back and knees.with her rich experience and knowledge on aasanas and Pranayama each session is a delight.I really look forward to my yoga sessions with her.Highly recommend her!

    I will highly recommend Kankana yoga classes to everyone who is looking for over all well being.. I joined her around 9 months ago and I can already feel the huge difference in my flexibility. Best part of Kankana class is that you get benefits of both group motivation as well as personal attention.. Kankana focuses on each individual and constantly put efforts in teaching the right technique to do asanas. As a yoga teacher, she will push you a bit sometime but then she also respects your limits.. Kankana’s knowledge on Yogasanas is very wide and deep.. Her one hour class is a good combination of various Asanas(which focusses on flexibility and activation of our organ systems) Cardio and breathing exercises. She incorporates mindfulness into practice which makes every session soothing and deeply relaxing.. I really look forward to attend her class.

    Not available for people outside Ajmera infinity. Her classes look good. But I gave 3 stars only to highlight it as it’s confusing to others. For online classes and personal classes outside ajmera, in my opinion google maps is not the place.

    Kankana is an extremely patient and inspiring yoga teacher, who is highly recommended for yoga/pilates/individual therapy/personal weight loss sessions. I have been doing yoga for more than 5-6 years and with Kankana for more than a year. What I liked about her class is that she gives individual attention to every student and motivates us to keep going and improve daily but knows when to stop pushing also. She helps build core strength by adding pilates also to the mix. She is equally good with kids , beginners and the advanced practitioners. She teaches asanas in the form of series, in addition to the regular Surya namaskara, which makes it easier to learn and do in a flow. Kankana ensures there's enough focus on mental health as well and teaches various practices including meditation, pranayama, kapalbhati, 3 stage breathing, bastrika and introduces face yoga, wall yoga, jala neeti, Trataka etc. to the mix as well once in a while, to ensure it doesn't become too repetitive. She keeps in mind any specific health issues and advises on any asanas that have to be skipped or the variations that need to be done. I have been fortunate to be part of her virtual (mostly) as well as in person classes and found that both are equally effective. Her instructions in virtual classes are also crystal clear. P.S. Updating this review. I am still continuing yoga classes with Kankana now for almost 3+years and I attend the offline classes now. Best thing about Kankana is that she always keeps learning and updating herself, so she has more to offer us and keeps to ensure the class is interesting and not monotonous! I can feel the difference in my body now with more flexibility and core strength.. and improvements in the aches and pains.... especially when I follow her advice..

    Having a sitting job, I would have lower back pain, sometimes stiff neck as well. Practice of yoga and Kankana's guidance helped me to get rid of the back pain. I particularly like the pranayams and deep relaxation methods that helps to completely reset my system. Thank you Kankana.
